Search efforts were ramping up Wednesday after a woman had been missing for nearly a week in the Alaska community of Fort Yukon.
Lorraine Ginnis, 62, of Fort Yukon, was last seen in the area on October 4 at around 5 p.m., walking near her home on Spruce Street. After that, authorities say, no one knows what happened to her.
Ginnis was last seen wearing a purple jacket and a red hoodie. She's 5'6" tall and 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
