Joseph Andrew Spisak, an 11-year-old boy from Hammond, Indiana, was last seen on January 27, 1974. That morning, Joseph completed his paper route, returning home briefly to drop off his newspaper bag and sled. He was expected to attend mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, just a few blocks from his home on McCook Avenue, but he never arrived.
