In the winter of 1974, Frances Marie Curfman was a 23-year-old woman building a life for herself in Georgia. She held a full-time position in the administrative offices of the popular Six Flags over Georgia theme park. At the time, she was residing with her parents in Carroll County. On the morning of Valentine's Day, February 14, Frances borrowed her parents' car to drive to work in Austell.
