In the winter of 1977, a 29-year-old man named Willard Duane Martindale vanished from the streets of Reno, Nevada. At the time of his disappearance, Willard was known to lead a transient lifestyle, often moving between the areas of Reno and Hawthorne. He was a man with sandy hair, blue eyes, and stood between 5'10' and 5'11' tall. He weighed between 150 and 190 pounds and may have had a beard, which would have grown in with a reddish color.
