On August 15, 1989, the vast and often treacherous waters of Prince William Sound, Alaska, became the final known location for 60-year-old Russell Stanley Farrell. He was aboard the F/V Sequel, a 67-foot steel trawler, when a sudden and catastrophic event led to its capsizing and sinking.
