Luis Lorenzo Alfonso, a 30-year-old man, was last seen on May 31, 1993, on Captiva Island, Florida. He had been visiting a family friend on the island before his disappearance. Alfonso left Captiva driving his blue 1992 Ford Bronco, but he never made it back to his family. On June 1, 1993, his vehicle was discovered abandoned in the parking lot of a shopping plaza on Coral Way in Miami, Florida. Despite extensive searches, no trace of Alfonso has been found since.
Alfonso was described as 6'1" tall and weighing 220 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He had a distinctive tattoo of a tiger's face with green eyes on his chest and was wearing a gold necklace with a large pendant at the time of his disappearance. The circumstances surrounding his case have led authorities to suspect foul play, but no significant leads have surfaced in the decades since he went missing. Investigators continue to urge the public to come forward with any information that might shed light on Alfonso's disappearance.
