German Ernesto Chavez-Moreno, a 21-year-old man, was last seen on June 16, 2003, in Mexicali, California, near the U.S.-Mexico border. At the time, he and a group of friends were planning to cross into the United States illegally. Described as 5'8" tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, Chavez-Moreno was wearing a navy blue V-neck t-shirt, navy blue pants, and size 7.5 black shoes on the day of his disappearance.
