Rodney Texera, aged 40, was last seen on December 1, 2005, in Berkeley, California. Texera, who was developmentally disabled and deaf since birth, lived in UA Homes, a housing facility for disabled adults. He last communicated with his family via email on the day of his disappearance. At the time, he had been helping a deaf friend move to Oroville, California, when they had an argument.
