Fernando Ortiz-Carreras, a 34-year-old man from Grand Island, Nebraska, was last seen on December 10, 2016. That day, he had texted his wife, and the interaction was not initially seen as suspicious. Ortiz-Carreras was reported missing on December 16, six days after his last known contact. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a Hispanic male, about 5'9", weighing 165 to 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
