Mya Barnes, a 15-year-old Black female, was reported missing from Washington, D.C. in the spring of 2017. There are conflicting dates regarding her last confirmed whereabouts. Some sources indicate she was last seen on May 1, 2017, while other agencies, including the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, state she was last seen on May 18, 2017, at approximately 8:30 A.M. The location of her last sighting was in the 2900 block of Southern Avenue, Southeast.
