Karam Govens Jr., an 8-year-old boy, has been missing since September 22, 2017. He was last seen in Port St. Lucie, Florida, leaving his grandmother's home with his mother, Georgia Brown, around 12:30 a.m. that morning. Brown, who had been staying with her mother due to marital problems, received a distressing phone call shortly before she left with Karam. The two were traveling in a silver 2003 Toyota Camry with the Florida license plate ENS-Q75.
After their disappearance, a felony warrant for interference with custody was issued for Georgia Brown in November 2017. They were known to have been in Broward County shortly after they went missing, but their current whereabouts remain unknown. Although a warrant exists for Georgia, her mother has expressed concerns that both Georgia and Karam may have met with foul play, as it was uncharacteristic for them to disappear without warning.
Karam was a fourth-grade student at the time of his disappearance, and both his and Georgia's cases remain unsolved. The authorities urge anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
