On September 30, 2017, Joshua Micah Jarrell, a 38-year-old father of two, was seen at a Lowe's store in Petal, Mississippi, where he spoke with friends. At the time, he was living with a friend after a divorce and was employed at the local Walmart. Concern grew when he failed to show up for his job the following day, an action that was highly out of character for the devoted father.
