Despite these efforts, Alvin's whereabouts remained unknown. His personal belongings were left at his residence, adding to the mystery of his disappearance. The Howard County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation, interviewing neighbors and family members in an attempt to uncover any information that could lead to his location. Alvin is described as a Black male with black hair, brown eyes, and a distinctive facial discoloration. At the time of his disappearance, he was 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed 165 pounds.
