Alicia Lin Griffin, a 46-year-old woman from Sacramento, California, disappeared on February 28, 2019, during a mental health crisis. She left her home in a car registered to her father, and on March 1, she was sighted in Inglewood, California. The next day, Alicia was seen in Tijuana, Mexico, where she abandoned her vehicle and belongings at a car wash. Her last known appearance was captured on surveillance footage from a convenience store in Tijuana on March 2, 2019. Despite these sightings, she has not been heard from since.
Alicia suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and was not on her medication at the time of her disappearance, raising concerns for her safety. Her tattoos and distinguishing features, such as a red circle tattoo on her left calf and a skull and crossbones tattoo on her shoulder, have been noted in efforts to locate her. Alicia's case remains unsolved, and her family continues to search for answers.
