The Day David Stewart Disappeared
On July 8, 2019, David Stewart, a 52-year-old resident of Houma, Louisiana, left his home on foot and was never seen again. He was last spotted in the 7400 block of Park Avenue, a residential area in Houma. At the time, he was wearing a black t-shirt and black pants or long black shorts. Known to frequent local convenience stores, Stewart's routine disappearance raised immediate concerns among those who knew him.
Delayed Reporting and Initial Investigation
Despite Stewart's sudden disappearance, a missing person report was not filed until July 13, 2019, five days later. The Houma Police Department initiated an investigation upon receiving the report.
