On June 21, 2020, 44-year-old Dawnita Wilkerson was last seen in Evansville, Indiana. Surveillance footage captured her entering a silver 2004 Chevrolet Suburban outside a local motel at 8:16 p.m. This vehicle, equipped with a sunroof and tinted windows, was later identified by authorities. The following morning, by approximately 9:00 a.m., Dawnita's phone was turned off or had died, and she has not been heard from since.
In the days leading up to her disappearance, Dawnita expressed fear for her safety. She confided in family members about threats from two men—one being an ex-boyfriend with a history of violence, and the other a relative of his. Despite changing her phone number to evade them, they managed to obtain her new contact information. On the morning she vanished, Dawnita called a family member, stating she was with the two men and was frightened, even inquiring if they knew someone with a gun.
The silver Suburban Dawnita entered was traced to an individual identified by police. However, this person has not cooperated with the investigation. Family members have indicated that the vehicle's owner is one of the men Dawnita feared. Despite this lead, the lack of cooperation has hindered progress in the case.
Dawnita's disappearance left behind six children, aged between 15 and 22 at the time. Her family describes her as a devoted mother who maintained daily contact with her children and mother. The sudden cessation of communication was immediately alarming. Her aunt, Julia Womack, expressed the family's distress, stating, "We just feel like something is wrong." Another aunt, Nora Martin, emphasized their determination, saying, "We are going to be relentless and do everything we can to find her." ...Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
