Introduction

In the summer of 2023, the city of Lansing, Michigan, was shaken by the mysterious disappearance of 39-year-old Amber Marie Arnett. Despite extensive search efforts and ongoing investigations, Amber's whereabouts remain unknown, leaving her family and the community desperate for answers.

Background

Amber, a Lansing native, attended Holt Central High School and later pursued dental assisting at Ross Medical Education Center. She dedicated much of her career to caregiving, inspired by her experience tending to her grandparents during their battles with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. In early 2023, Amber faced challenges at work, leading to the loss of her position as a live-in caretaker at an adult foster care home. This setback coincided with legal issues, as she was scheduled to appear in court on July 13, 2023.
