The Day Everet Disappeared

On the morning of May 8, 2000, 53-year-old Everet Otis Roberts left his home in Eufaula, Oklahoma, around 7:30 a.m. He was reportedly en route to a doctor's appointment in Oklahoma City, followed by work in Mustang. Described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 225 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses, Everet was a familiar figure in his community. His sudden disappearance that day marked the beginning of a perplexing mystery that remains unsolved over two decades later.  

The Discovery of the Abandoned Vehicle

Approximately two weeks after Everet's disappearance, his black 1980 Ford Ranger was found abandoned near mile marker 247 on Interstate 40, close to the Tiger Mountain Road on-ramp. The vehicle's location raised immediate concerns, as it was left in an area that did not align with his intended route to Oklahoma City.
