Shelley Corinne Hoke was a vibrant 22-year-old woman from Phoenix, Arizona, known for her spirited personality and distinctive tattoos. Born on February 19, 1969, Shelley stood between 5'7" and 5'8", weighed approximately 125 to 135 pounds, and had brown hair and hazel eyes. She was affectionately nicknamed "Mississippi" and had several tattoos: an eagle on her right shoulder, a rose on her left breast, and a fish on her right ankle.
On June 28, 1991, at around 6:00 p.m., Shelley called her parents to inform them that she was heading to Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix to visit them. However, she never arrived, and that phone call was the last time anyone heard from her. Her sudden disappearance raised immediate concerns, and foul play was suspected from the outset.
The investigation into Shelley's disappearance faced numerous challenges. Despite being classified as an endangered missing person, leads were scarce, and the case quickly grew cold. The Phoenix Police Department has continued to list her case, but no significant breakthroughs have been reported.
Shelley's family has endured decades of uncertainty and grief. A cousin of Shelley shared heartfelt memories and frustrations on a public forum, expressing the pain of not knowing what happened and the feeling that Shelley's case was not given the attention it deserved. The family continues to seek answers and justice for Shelley. ...Read More
