On August 19, 2021, 37-year-old Joseaf Unware Griessett left his Los Angeles residence for work and was never seen again. Standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 300 pounds, Joseaf was described as a Black/African American male with black hair and brown eyes. He had distinctive tattoos on both his upper right and left arms.

The case was officially reported on September 16, 2021, nearly a month after Joseaf was last seen. Despite efforts, there were no significant leads or breakthroughs in the case.
