On February 1, 2024, 19-year-old T'Montez Hurt, a freshman at Missouri Western State University, vanished under perplexing circumstances in Kansas City, Missouri. Originally from St. Louis, T'Montez had recently taken a semester off to work at a Price Chopper in Grain Valley, aiming to save money for his return to college. A Distressing Phone Call and Hospital Visit

In the early hours of February 1, T'Montez called his grandmother, Tecona Donald-Sullivan, expressing fear and confusion. He believed he had been drugged while at an apartment in Kansas City.
