On December 27, 2017, 45-year-old Bonnie Lou Drane was last seen visiting an injured family member at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Accompanied by her roommate, Brenda Carroll, Drane left the hospital after receiving $25 from a relative. The two women departed in Drane's silver 1998 Honda Accord.
