Mysterious Departure From Anchorage’s Merrill Field
On June 29, 1997, Monte Owen Parrish, 44, and his wife Linda, 41, departed Merrill Field in Anchorage, Alaska aboard a yellow-and-white Cessna 182 . They were accompanied by their friends Donald and Karen Johnston. The four adults reportedly did not file a formal flight plan, although it is believed they intended a sightseeing trip over Denali National Park.
Aircraft Vanishes Without Trace
