A Routine Morning Turns Mysterious
In the early hours of November 16, 2016, 53-year-old Donald Stofko Jr. embarked on his usual commute from Lynwood, Illinois, to his job at a Speedway gas station in Merrillville, Indiana. Driving his black 2003 Kia Spectra with Illinois license plate V138803, he was last seen around 4 a.m. heading east on Route 30. This familiar journey, spanning approximately 30 minutes, should have concluded with his arrival at work. However, Donald never made it, and he has not been seen or heard from since.
A Man with Medical Needs
Donald’s disappearance is particularly concerning due to his medical condition; he requires seizure medication to manage his health. The absence of his medication raises alarms about his well-being and adds urgency to the search efforts. At the time he went missing, Donald was described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with short, balding gray or brown hair, and blue eyes.
