A Life Anchored in Alaska

Paul Jordan Keithahn was born on May 5, 1962, in Juneau, Alaska, and grew up along Fritz Cove Road. From an early age, he developed a deep connection to the sea, often going fishing with his mother before attending kindergarten. His passion for boating and the outdoors was evident throughout his life.

The Fateful Day

On September 15, 2014, a Good Samaritan spotted a 32-foot pleasure craft named Spellbound circling unmanned about three-quarters of a mile west of Point Louisa, near Auke Bay. The vessel belonged to Paul Keithahn. Upon boarding, only his cell phone was found; there was no sign of Paul.
