Seventeen-year-old Tracy Marie Kroh, a bright and dedicated student from Enterline, Pennsylvania, vanished on August 5, 1989. A member of the National Honor Society and an active participant in her school's yearbook and newspaper, Tracy was known for her responsibility and kindness. That summer evening, she left home to deliver items to her sister's residence at the Alex Acres Trailer Park in Halifax. Finding no one home, she left the items on the porch and was never seen again. Her 1971 Mercury Comet was discovered the following day in Millersburg's town square, with no trace of Tracy or her belongings .
Initially, Tracy's parents believed she had stayed overnight at her sister's, a common occurrence. Upon realizing she hadn't, they reported her missing. The discovery of her abandoned car in a public area raised suspicions, but the lack of immediate evidence hindered the investigation. Authorities considered various scenarios, including the possibility of her running away, but her personal items and money left behind suggested otherwise .
In December 1993, over four years after Tracy's disappearance, a significant development occurred. Parts of her wallet, including her driver's license and National Honor Society card, were found near Wiconisco Creek in Washington Township, approximately nine miles from Millersburg. This discovery renewed interest in the case and suggested foul play, but no further evidence was uncovered at the site .
Years later, attention turned to individuals connected to Tracy. In 2019, Matthew Webster was charged with perjury after allegedly admitting involvement in Tracy's disappearance to a witness but denying it under oath. He pleaded no contest and served a short sentence. Another individual, Holly Mallett, was also charged with perjury related to the case. Despite these legal actions, no one has been charged directly with Tracy's disappearance ....Read More
