A Troubled Past and a Mysterious Disappearance

Chad Eugene Reynolds, a 25-year-old registered sexual predator, vanished under perplexing circumstances in early February 2009. Having been convicted in 2003 for lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim under 12 years of age, Reynolds served five years in prison and was released in 2008 under strict probation conditions. His disappearance shortly after release has left law enforcement and the community searching for answers .

The Night of the Super Bowl

On February 1, 2009, Reynolds attended a Super Bowl party at DJ and Gina's Bar in Ocklawaha, Florida. During the event, he reportedly got into a verbal altercation with a female friend's ex-boyfriend. Following the dispute, Reynolds left the bar, borrowing his friend's maroon Ford Taurus to go to a local store.
