A Mother Disappears Without a Trace
On May 9, 2015, 37-year-old Sasha Marrie Bishop vanished from a residence in the 5500 block of Dustin Street in Bakersfield, California. The home, known to be frequented by transients, was the last place she was seen. Bishop, a Hispanic woman with brown hair and eyes, stood 5'2" tall and weighed approximately 120 pounds. She had distinctive tattoos: stars on the left side of her face, a sleeve with stars and a blue and red background on her right arm, and additional tattoos on her chest and upper back. She may have used the surnames Medrano or Serna and sometimes spelled her first name as "Xasha".
Unusual Circumstances Surrounding Her Disappearance
Authorities classified Bishop's case as an endangered missing person due to the unusual circumstances of her disappearance. She left behind three children, intensifying concerns for her safety.
