A Routine Day Turns Tragic
On July 21, 1994, David Nathan, a 30-year-old American Indian/Alaska Native man, disappeared off the coast of Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. He was last seen approximately one mile northeast of Eek Point and Hydaburg, after reportedly falling overboard from a skiff. Nathan was not wearing a flotation device at the time, and despite extensive search efforts, he was never found. Authorities presume he drowned in the incident.
