A Quiet Evening Turns Into a Lifetime of Questions

On March 25, 1986, 36-year-old Allyn Wayne Kellar of Omaha, Nebraska, was last seen dropping off his son near 132nd and Grover Streets. Later that evening, he contacted his wife from an acquaintance's house, stating he planned to visit Cascio's Steakhouse to meet the owner and would return home around 8 p.m. However, he never arrived at the restaurant, and his family never heard from him again.

The Discovery of an Abandoned Vehicle

Approximately eleven weeks after his disappearance, Allyn's brown and white 1978 Monte Carlo was found abandoned near 10th and Hickory Streets in Omaha, close to the restaurant he intended to visit. The vehicle was unoccupied, and there were no signs of Allyn. Despite investigations, no substantial leads emerged from the discovery of the car.
