A Routine Trip Turns into a Mystery

On March 14, 2017, 32-year-old Krista Rae Bowman departed from her mother's home in Morongo Valley, California, embarking on what was intended to be a brief visit to her boyfriend, Christopher Starr Perfect, in Colorado. Driving her silver Toyota Avalon, Krista maintained regular contact with her family through phone calls and Facebook messages during the initial phase of her journey. However, communication abruptly ceased after April 15, 2017, when she last reached out via Facebook from Fort Garland, Colorado.
