A Mysterious Call from the Desert

Edward Dennis Steinert, a 52-year-old man from Niland, California, vanished under perplexing circumstances on June 23, 2013. On that day, Steinert placed a 911 call reporting that he was lost. He described his location as being on a dirt road where he could see telephone poles. Unfortunately, the call was abruptly disconnected before authorities could determine his exact whereabouts.
