On November 25, 2019, 20-year-old Tamickia Tyrissa Platero, affectionately known as "Minna," vanished under perplexing circumstances. While traveling with her parents between Casamero Lake and Prewitt, New Mexico, she requested that they stop the vehicle. Upon exiting, she walked away and has not been seen since. This sudden disappearance has left her family and community in a state of anguish and uncertainty.
Tamickia is a Native American woman, standing between 5'6" and 5'7" tall, and weighing approximately 140 to 150 pounds. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a black Dickason pullover shirt, black Dickie's pants, and black size 8.5 Converse shoes. She may have been carrying a pink backpack. Tamickia has black hair and brown eyes, and she wears prescription eyeglasses, though it's unclear if she had them with her. Notably, she has a tattoo of the word "LOVE" on her left index finger, a scar on her right bicep, and a history of ingrown toenails on her left foot.
The events leading up to Tamickia's disappearance are both brief and enigmatic. While en route with her parents, she asked them to stop the car between Casamero Lake and Prewitt. After exiting the vehicle, she walked away and has not been heard from since. There were no indications of distress or conflict reported at the time, and her reasons for leaving remain unknown.
The Navajo Nation Police Department, specifically the Crownpoint District, is the primary agency investigating Tamickia's case. The agency's contact information is as follows:...Read More
