Employed at Center City Public Charter Schools, Stern was known for his dedication to his work and his recent engagement to his fiancée, Katie Park. His sudden disappearance has left a void in the lives of those who knew him and a case that remains unsolved years later.
The Day He Disappeared
On the morning of his disappearance, Stern went to work as usual. At 4:22 p.m., he sent a text message to Park, stating he was leaving work early to see a doctor and would be home later. This was the last communication anyone received from him. Surveillance footage later captured Stern at Dixie Liquor Store in Georgetown at 6:07 p.m., purchasing a pint of Crown Royal.
