A Quiet Morning in Graham

On the morning of July 31, 2020, David Carl Ogle, a 38-year-old resident of Graham, North Carolina, left his home to head to work. His wife reported that she last saw him around 8:00 AM. However, he never arrived at his workplace, and that evening, his wife reported him missing to the authorities. This marked the beginning of a perplexing missing person case that remains unsolved years later.


Discovery in Yancey County

On August 3, 2020, three days after David's disappearance, his vehicle was located in Yancey County, North Carolina. The car was found near the head of the Black Mountain Trail, a popular hiking area in the region. This discovery prompted a search operation in the surrounding area, but despite efforts, no trace of David was found. 


Physical Description and Last Known Attire

David Ogle is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing around 190 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was possibly wearing a blue t-shirt with the text "UP NORTH" on it and red and white running shoes. 


The Search Efforts
