On December 27, 2013, 33-year-old Travis Jermaine Allen vanished from the 4900 block of Jean Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Standing six feet tall and weighing between 175 and 195 pounds, Travis was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jeans, black and blue sneakers, and a red and white jacket. He bore several distinctive tattoos: “Nun Son” on his left forearm, “Troy” on the inner left forearm, “Flood City” on both elbows, and “Anethra” on the left side of his chest . Despite these identifying features, no trace of him has been found since that day.
In the weeks following his disappearance, efforts were made to locate Travis. On January 11, 2014, Texas EquuSearch organized a search operation, establishing a command post at the Baton Rouge Police Department on Plank Road. Volunteers were called upon to assist in the search on foot and with ATVs, braving the winter conditions in hopes of finding any clue that could lead to Travis . Despite these efforts, the search yielded no significant leads.
The Baton Rouge Police Department continues to list Travis Allen as a missing person. His case is also registered with the Louisiana Repository for Missing and Unidentified Persons and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), under case number MP64396 . However, there have been no substantial developments or public updates in the years since his disappearance.
Travis's disappearance has left a void in his community and among his loved ones. The lack of closure has been a source of ongoing pain and uncertainty. Efforts to keep his case in the public eye have included listings on various missing persons websites and social media platforms, aiming to generate new leads or information....Read More
