A Quiet Day Turns Tragic

On May 19, 2018, 23-year-old Michael Nicholas Celli vanished near the Reedy Point Bridge in Port Penn, Delaware. Described as a slender young man, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 125 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, Michael was last seen swimming in the Delaware River's marshlands. He was wearing a long-sleeved burgundy shirt, gray sweatpants, white socks, and brown slippers . His black 2006 Honda Accord, bearing Delaware license plate number 182940, was found abandoned on Route 9, just south of the Reedy Point Bridge, intensifying concerns about his safety .

The Search and Presumption

Following Michael's disappearance, extensive search efforts were undertaken in the area surrounding the Reedy Point Bridge. Despite these efforts, no trace of Michael was found.
