A Mother’s Life Interrupted
Keyonna Denaye Cole, a 27-year-old mother from Brooksville, Florida, vanished on February 10, 2019. She was last seen around 11 p.m., walking along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard toward Broad Street. The following day, she failed to attend a scheduled deposition related to an attempted murder case in which she was the victim. Her sudden disappearance has left her family and community searching for answers.
A Survivor of Violence
In October 2018, three months before her disappearance, Keyonna was attacked and strangled by her ex-boyfriend, Dwayne Williams, at Russell Street Park in Brooksville. At the time, she was five months pregnant, and the assault resulted in the loss of her unborn child.
