A Quiet Morning in Moca

On February 19, 1995, the town of Moca, Puerto Rico, awoke to a day like any other. But for 15-year-old Jose Enrique Medina Lopez, affectionately known as "Rickie," it would be the day he vanished without a trace. Standing at 5'1" and weighing 130 pounds, Jose was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts. He bore a birthmark on his back and had scars on his right hand, right leg, and left thigh.

The Mysterious Voyage

Jose was reportedly in the company of his non-custodial stepfather aboard a custom-made 21-foot Open Fisherman boat named "Ashlyn." The vessel was blue and white, equipped with two outboard Mariner 40 HP motors, and bore the Coast Guard registration number 0763-FF. Neither Jose nor his stepfather have been seen since that day.

A Case of Abduction?

Authorities have classified Jose's disappearance as an endangered missing person case. Given that he was last seen with his non-custodial stepfather, there is speculation that he may have been abducted. The pair might have traveled to states such as Florida, New Jersey, or New York, but no confirmed sightings have been reported.

The Search Efforts

Multiple agencies have been involved in the search for Jose, including Interpol's San Juan office and the San Juan Police Department. Despite their efforts, no substantial leads have emerged.
