Craig Lee White was an 18-year-old from Whitesboro, a community within Middle Township in Cape May County, New Jersey. According to case records, he stood about 5'6"–5'7" and weighed roughly 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He disappeared on February 23, 1990, and despite the decades that have followed, he has never been found.

On the evening of February 23, 1990—around 6:00 p.m.—Craig was at his home in the 400 block of Washington Avenue in Whitesboro, lifting weights, when his cousin Jesse E. Watkins arrived.
