On the morning of Thursday, November 16, 2023, 64-year-old lobsterman Scott Cluff embarked on what was expected to be a typical day of hauling lobster traps. Launching his 12-foot aluminum skiff from the Turbats Creek boat ramp in Kennebunkport, Maine, Cluff set out to work the familiar waters between Walker's Point and Cape Porpoise.
