A Quiet Afternoon Walk Turns Into a Mystery

On April 6, 2018, 37-year-old Corey Allan Waterman set out for a walk in the small town of Idanha, Oregon. Known for his love of the outdoors and frequent walks along forest roads, Corey’s routine excursion took a mysterious turn when he failed to return home that evening. His brother, Charles Ray Waterman, reported him missing two days later, marking the beginning of an extensive search and an enduring mystery.

The Last Known Sighting

Witnesses reported seeing Corey walking into the forested area south of Idanha through the Frank’s Timber gate on Church Street around 1:30 p.m. on the day he disappeared. He was last seen wearing brown pants and black boots, attire not considered suitable for the weather conditions at the time.
