After Hall's disappearance, her family reported her missing when she failed to return home or make contact. Investigations revealed that her credit cards were used multiple times in Daytona Beach, Florida. However, the transactions were made by a male individual, not Hall. In August 1985, Hall's Datsun Mini Motor Home was located in Cameron, Louisiana, in the possession of Aubrey.
