A Quiet Town, A Lingering Mystery

Beattyville, Kentucky, a small town nestled in the Appalachian foothills, is known for its tight-knit community and scenic beauty. However, since February 3, 2018, the town has been overshadowed by the mysterious disappearance of one of its residents, Steven Carter Best. Despite extensive searches and investigations, Steven's whereabouts remain unknown, leaving his family and the community in a state of perpetual uncertainty. 

The Day Steven Disappeared

On the day he vanished, Steven was last seen at his residence in Beattyville. He was 38 years old at the time, standing between 5'10" and 5'11", weighing approximately 150 to 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a gray jacket or hooded sweatshirt, camouflage-print pants, brown boots, and a distinctive Batman beanie hat.
