Leslie Anne Martin-Porter, born on November 1, 1959, was a vibrant 24-year-old woman residing in West Covina, California. Described as a Caucasian female with brown hair and hazel eyes, Leslie stood between 5'4" and 5'5" tall and weighed between 122 and 160 pounds. She had distinctive moles—one just above the right side of her mouth and another beneath her chin. At the time of her disappearance, she was married and employed at Robinson's department store in the Puente Hills Mall.
On the morning of January 19, 1984, Leslie had planned to take her truck in for repairs at 10:00 a.m. and then call her mother for a ride back home. Her husband reported that when he returned home from work, Leslie was missing.
Upon returning home, Leslie's husband found her truck still parked in its assigned spot, untouched. The apartment door was unlocked, and all of Leslie's personal belongings, including her purse and car keys, were still inside. There were no signs of a struggle, but a pair of gold earrings that Leslie cherished were found lying on the living room floor.
The West Covina Police Department launched an investigation into Leslie's disappearance. Given the circumstances—her sudden disappearance, the untouched state of her home, and the abandoned personal items—authorities suspected foul play. Despite their efforts, no substantial leads emerged, and Leslie's case remained unsolved. ...Read More
