A Routine Drive Ends in Disappearance

In the early hours of April 18, 2020, 36-year-old Dhan Bir Sarki was last seen in the Tamarack Circle area of Columbus, Ohio, around 2:30 a.m. He had just dropped off a friend and was driving a gray 2017 Toyota Rav4 with Ohio license plate HUV3532. Sarki never made it back to his home in Dayton and has not been heard from since.

The Discovery of the Abandoned Vehicle

Approximately one month later, on May 18, Sarki's vehicle was found moderately damaged and abandoned in the 5000 block of Westerville Road in northeast Columbus. Witnesses reported that several individuals, none of whom were Sarki, had left the vehicle there several weeks earlier. This discovery led investigators to suspect foul play in Sarki's disappearance.

Physical Description and Personal Details

At the time of his disappearance, Sarki was described as an Asian male, 5'4" tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a leather jacket, a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. Sarki's case has been classified as an endangered missing person.

Ongoing Investigation and Public Appeal

The Columbus Division of Police continues to investigate Sarki's disappearance. They urge anyone with information to come forward. Detective Doug Garrett can be contacted at the Columbus Division of Police at (614) 645-4545. The case remains open, and authorities hope that public assistance may provide new leads. ...Read More
