Alvin Terry Israel, known to friends and family as “Terry,” was a 50-year-old man living alone in Breckenridge, Texas, a small town in Stephens County. Described as having a slim build, standing 5'11" tall, and weighing approximately 165 pounds, Israel had gray hair, blue eyes, and wore glasses. Notably, he was missing two fingers and part of another on his left hand. Despite these physical distinctions, he led a quiet life, keeping to himself and maintaining a low profile in the community.
On May 16, 2007, Israel vanished without a trace. He left behind all his personal belongings, including identification and other effects, at his residence. There were no signs of forced entry or struggle, and his home appeared undisturbed. The suddenness of his disappearance, coupled with the lack of evidence, left investigators and loved ones puzzled.
The Stephens County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into Israel's disappearance. Despite efforts to locate him, including searches and interviews, no substantial leads emerged. The case was entered into various missing persons databases, and bulletins were distributed in hopes of garnering public assistance.
The local community was shaken by Israel's disappearance. Residents participated in search efforts and remained vigilant for any signs of him. Over the years, the case has been featured on platforms dedicated to missing persons, keeping his story alive and encouraging the public to come forward with any information. ...Read More
