Discovery of the Victims

In early November 2019, the quiet community near Wasilla, Alaska, was shaken by a gruesome discovery. On November 3, Alaska State Troopers found the bodies of 25-year-old Michael Attwood and 37-year-old Donna Marie Campos near Knik Knack Mud Shack Road. Both individuals had been fatally shot. The following day, the body of 28-year-old Alyssa Jimenez was discovered in a wooded area near mile 10 of Knik Goose Bay Road. Authorities quickly linked the three deaths, believing the victims had been together prior to their murders.

Profiles of the Victims

Michael Attwood, originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, resided in Big Lake, Alaska. Described by friends as a kind and gentle individual, he was a father to a young daughter. Donna Marie Campos, also known as Marie Anderson, grew up in the Big Lake and Wasilla areas. Known for her compassionate nature, she often volunteered at local nursing homes during her high school years. Despite facing personal challenges, including the loss of her partner, Paul Anderson, in a car accident a year prior, Donna remained a supportive figure in her community.
