Miguel Haro, a 44-year-old construction worker from Cicero, Illinois, was known for his unwavering dedication to his family. The Fateful Evening

On the evening of December 21, 2014, Miguel was working extra hours at a construction site in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. He had taken on additional work to afford Christmas presents for his daughters, particularly a tablet he had promised his eldest.
