On June 16, 2017, the life of 18-year-old Sherrod "Poppie" Rhyme was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence in Chicago's Park Manor neighborhood. Despite the passage of time, his murder remains unsolved, leaving a void in his community and a family yearning for justice.
The Fateful Day
Around 3:15 p.m. on that Friday afternoon, Sherrod was standing outside in the 7000 block of South State Street.
